ABOUT THE "ELVIS & FRIENDS SHOW"
Rockin' Ron Cade started the show on Feb. 3, 1978 on WRCP Radio, Philadelphia. Over the years it's been heard on several stations like: WTTM, Trenton, New Jersey, WHWH, Princeton, New Jersey, WPGR, Philadelphia, stations throughout the mid west and of course for the past many years on WOGL, 98.1, Philadelphia. The first Elvis record played was "Hound Dog". After that first record and the news that this is a weekly radio tribute to Elvis, the phones rang off the hook. Now over 30 years later, the response is greater than ever, the audience is larger than ever and The Elvis & Friends Show has become a Sunday morning tradition in Philadelphia. Some of the "Friends" who have been on the show with Rockin' Ron over the years include; Kathy Westmoreland, Joe Esposito, Ronnie Tutt, Mary Jenkins, Ed Parker, Scotty Moore and many other Elvis friends.
