ABOUT THE "ELVIS & FRIENDS SHOW"
Rockin' Ron Cade started the show on Feb. 3, 1978 on WRCP Radio, Philadelphia. Over the years it's been heard on several stations like: WTTM, Trenton, New Jersey, WHWH, Princeton, New Jersey, WPGR, Philadelphia and of course for the past many years on WOGL, Oldies 98.1, Philadelphia. The first Elvis record played was "Hound Dog". After that first record and the news that this is a weekly radio tribute to Elvis, the phones rang off the hook. Now 30 years later, the response is greater than ever. Some of the "Friends" who have been on the show with Rockin' Ron over the years include; Kathy Westmoreland, Joe Esposito, Ronnie Tutt, Mary Jenkins, Ed Parker, Scotty Moore and many other Elvis friends.
